Petite Lap Giraffes

I'm sure some of you might already know about this phenomenon in the pet sector, but you might not know all the amazing details.

Baby petite lap giraffe
What is the number one thing you would like more than anything in the world? Yes, I thought so. But how likely is it that a giraffe will be an acceptable pet in your living quarters? ...Negotiable. But there is a solution. I present to you the Petite Lap Giraffe:

I'm all for exotic pets and making them live in the domestic bliss of a cage within a bigger cage, er, I mean, house, but you might be thinking, "This is going too far." And it is. Sokoblovsky Farms, "Russia's finest purveyors of petite lap giraffes," says different and once you have a chance to learn a little about the species, I think you will realize it is a perfectly appropriate pet. I will begin at their very origins, "It all started when Great Grandfather Nicolas escaped circus with best friend Alex, the giraffe. The rest they say is history." There's the bull Vladimir and the cows Raina and Svetlana, and hopefully I don't have to go into detail about how that process works because it makes me uncomfortable.

Here is the description from their website if you are wanting to order one online, taken from their website:

Adult petite lap giraffe.
Petite Lap Giraffes are very funny animal that require special care. They need lots of love. Hugs and kisses every day. Otherwise they make tears.
If you have children, petite lap giraffes no problem. If child is loud, the giraffe will be shy, but does not bite. PLG’s are very clean. With training they will go in box like cats. Allergies never a problem.
Size: adult is 76 centimeters, baby is 15 centimeters tall. Weight is 4.5kg unless the giraffe is fat cow then 5.44kg
Diet: distilled water and bonsai tree leaves
Health problems: none. They are the best.
Gestation: 420 days
Living conditions: PLG’s love being indoors in filtered air conditioning. If they can listen to music of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov it is dream.
Grooming: a bubble bath once a week with purified water is all they need.
Sounds like the ideal pet to me. I would really like one, but they are only bred in Russia and that is a long way for a petite lap giraffe to travel, especially since they need "hugs and kisses every day. Otherwise they make tears." And I'm an animal activist - I always encourage animals to pursue any career they want, be it acting or otherwise. Just look at Ivanka, the famous petite lap giraffe who starred in that commercial; "now she is big time celebrity, movie star."

Why is a petite lap giraffe in a commercial? What a stupid question! Why isn't a petite giraffe in a commercial. They explain it this way: "Customers always supreme happy with the babies. So much so they send photographs and even commercials." Good enough for me, and what's good enough for me is sometimes okay for most people.

There is a really great poll at the bottom of this page you should take that I think you will find very relative to your life.

Now it is pertinent that you go to their website immediately or petite lap giraffes around the world will die petitelapgiraffe.com
